Service 03 · Packing

Packing &
unpacking.

We bring the boxes, we do the wrapping, and we label every box by room. On the other end we unpack it, set it up, and take the cardboard away.

What’s included

Every pack,
as standard.

Packing is the part people underestimate. A crew does a three-bedroom house in a day, and nothing goes in a box unwrapped.

01

All materials supplied

Boxes, butchers paper, bubble wrap, tape and covers arrive with the crew. Nothing for you to buy or estimate.

02

Wrapped, not just boxed

Crockery, glass and ceramics are individually wrapped. Boxes are packed tight so nothing shifts in transit.

03

Labelled by room

Every box is marked with its room and contents, so unpacking follows the house rather than the truck.

04

Wardrobe boxes

Hanging clothes go straight from rail to box and back again. No folding, no ironing at the other end.

05

Custom crating

Art, mirrors, glass tops and TVs are crated or boxed to size rather than blanket-wrapped and hoped for.

06

Inventory list

A written list of boxes by room, so you can check the load off at the other end and find things quickly.

How much we pack

Full pack,
or just the hard part.

Most people take the middle option — we do the kitchen and the fragiles, they do their own wardrobes and books.

01

Fragiles only

Kitchen, glassware, art and electronics. The items most likely to break if boxed badly.

02

Partial pack

Fragiles plus the rooms you’d rather not face — kitchen, study, garage.

03

Full pack

Every room, every cupboard. You keep working and we handle the house.

04

Pack & unpack

Full pack out, then unpacked and put away at the new home, boxes taken.

What we handle

and the fragile things.

FAQ

Packing,
answered.

Anything not covered here, call the office — a real person answers between 7am and 6pm, seven days.

Usually one or two days before the truck arrives, so the house is boxed and staged before move day. Small jobs are often packed and moved the same morning.
No. All materials are supplied and included in the quote, and we take the empty boxes away for recycling once you’re unpacked.
Yes, and plenty of people do. We’ll ask which rooms you’re handling so the quote and the box count match, and we’ll still wrap the fragiles.
Set them aside and tell the crew on the walk-around. We also ask that you carry passports, jewellery, medication, cash and hard drives yourself.
Yes. Each service stands on its own and is quoted separately. Bundling them is cheaper and simpler because it’s one crew and one schedule, but there’s no obligation to take the lot.
Two to three weeks is comfortable for a metro move, and four to six weeks over December–January and at end of month, when demand peaks. That said, we hold capacity for short-notice work and can often cover a move within 48 hours.
